Woburn Park and Eversholt

This 12.9km walk started in Woburn and involved a lot of time walking through the estate of Woburn Abbey and the deer park. Half-way half-pint was at the Green Man in Eversholt. It was a fantastically varied walk with fields, open grasslands, woodland and views of lakes. Lots of deer pictures below. The pathfinder book says that this "must rank as one of the great classic walks of Bedfordshire".

Turvey

Our first walk from the Hertfordshire and Bedforshire pathfinder book. The walk is in the valley of the Great Ouse and seemed to mainly comprise of straw fields. The walk is 10.5 km and started in Turvey where we had lunch lunch at The Three Cranes.
